Kitchen Sink & Faucet Replumb After Counter Installation (Valrico, FL) — December 2025
After a countertop replacement, the under-sink plumbing often requires a full reconfiguration to match the new sink depth and drain alignment. In December 2025, we completed a kitchen sink replumbing project in Valrico, Florida, focusing on proper slope, trap alignment, and reliable long-term performance.
We installed a customer-supplied kitchen faucet and rebuilt the drainage system using new drains and basket strainers. Each connection was assembled using proven plumbing practices to prevent leaks, sewer odors, and slow drainage.
New angle stops were installed to improve safety and provide dependable shutoff control. While the dishwasher could not be connected due to a missing drain hose component, the plumbing was left fully prepared for a future dishwasher hookup.
All work was completed professionally and tested for leaks and proper flow. A one-year labor warranty is included. Customer-supplied materials are not covered.
Drain Layout & Replumb Preparation
We confirmed drain locations and cabinet clearances after the countertop install so the trap height, slope, and service access were set up correctly before final connections.
Faucet Installation & Water Supply
We installed the customer-supplied faucet and prepared the water supply setup, focusing on clean alignment and reliable connections for steady flow and easier future service.
Basket Strainers & Drain Assembly
We rebuilt the kitchen sink drain system with new drains and basket strainers, ensuring tight slip-joint connections and proper alignment to help prevent leaks and slow drainage.
Final Setup & Leak Testing
We completed final checks on the drain connections and verified leak-free performance. The dishwasher could not be hooked up due to a missing hose component, but the plumbing was left ready for an easy future connection.
