Master Bathroom Toilet Tank Rebuild – Tampa, FL
On July 15, 2025, we responded to a plumbing service call in Tampa regarding a master bathroom toilet that wouldn’t stop filling. The issue stemmed from a malfunctioning fill valve and float assembly inside the toilet tank. Our expert technician, was dispatched to assess and resolve the issue with precision.
The problem was diagnosed as a minor toilet tank failure where the valve would rise to the top but the tank continued to fill, indicating an internal float or shut-off mechanism defect. We performed a full tank rebuild by replacing the fill valve, float, and internal seals, restoring optimal water regulation and eliminating the constant running noise.
Proper before-and-after documentation was captured on-site to reflect the thoroughness of our work and compliance with service protocol. Scroll below to see images taken during the process!

This image captures the original condition of the toilet tank before we started the repair. The water level sensor and fill valve were not shutting off properly, causing the tank to fill continuously. This type of issue not only wastes water but can also lead to long-term wear on plumbing fixtures.

Mid-repair, we removed the faulty fill valve and inspected the internal tank components. Our rebuild involved upgrading to a modern float valve system designed for better water efficiency and quieter refills. This shot shows how we access tight spaces while maintaining full sanitation protocol.

The finished result—a fully rebuilt toilet tank with new hardware. The new fill valve operates silently, shuts off properly, and helps reduce water waste. Our Tampa client can now enjoy a perfectly functioning bathroom with reliable plumbing behind the scenes.
