Washing Machine Box Replacement in Land O' Lakes, FL
In July 2025, we responded to a plumbing issue in Land O' Lakes, FL, where a new stackable laundry unit could not be connected due to leaking shut-off valves in the existing washing machine outlet box. Our technician, Amed Cepeda, performed a full replacement of the washer box, installing new hot and cold water valves, and ensuring proper drain line connection for long-term use and code compliance.

Old Washer Box
This is the original washing machine outlet box that had faulty valves. Visible signs of wear and corrosion around the valve stems were contributing to leaks during attempted appliance hookups.

Removal in Progress
Here I'm carefully removing the damaged washer box. We shut off the main water supply and safely disconnected all plumbing connections to avoid damaging the surrounding drywall or PEX lines.

New Washer Box Fitted
With the old box out, I mounted a brand-new washer outlet box designed for stacked laundry setups. The hot and cold valves were securely connected, and the drain pipe aligned perfectly.

Valve Testing
All shut-off valves were tested under pressure to confirm proper water flow and zero leaks. This ensures safe operation for the new washer without fear of future damage.

Finishing Touches
Once plumbing work was complete, we carefully patched the surrounding drywall and checked the box fitment to ensure a snug and flush installation behind the stacked unit.

Final Inspection
Here I’m performing a final inspection of the water lines, valves, and drain inlet. This box is now ready to handle everyday washer usage without leaks or flow restrictions.

Project Complete
This final view shows a clean, code-compliant install of the new washing machine box. Ready for appliance hookup and long-term reliability. Another job done right in Land O’ Lakes!
